Alta Napa Valley was founded with a mission to craft wines that exceed expectations. It began in 2008 with the discovery of the 90+ acre ALTA Vineyard atop Atlas Peak.
Producing fewer than 2,000 cases annually, Alta focuses on small-lot, handcrafted wines that reflect the unique character of Napa Valley. The inaugural vintage, the 2009 “Oso Malo” Cabernet Sauvignon, quickly sold out, setting the stage for expansion.
